Scott
has organized and provided first aid services for a number of sporting
events, including the 2005 Canadian Midget National Basketball
Championships, as well as the annual Summit Invitational Gymnastics Tournament from
2006 to 2010. Additionally he has acted as the Chief of Medical
Services for a variety of cross country ski races held at the Canmore
Nordic Centre, including the Alberta World Cup of Cross Country Skiing 2008 and 2010, the Western Canadian Championships 2009, and the Paralympic Championships 2010.
Additionally
Scott has worked with a number of sports teams, providing pre-event
first aid planning, assessment and immediate care of injuries occurring
during the event, taping services, exercise advice, and emergency
on-field care. He has experience working with varsity hockey,
basketball and soccer teams, as well as high school rugby and football
teams, and WHL and AHL hockey camps. In 2009/2010, Scott is pleased to
be working with the Banff Hockey Academy and will also be back with the Banff High School Rugby Team. He will also be returning for his fourth season as the therapist for the Bow Valley Wolverines Football Team.
